What: The Rhapsody Gala is Family Service's signature fundraising event to raise funds to support over 20 programs that help vulnerable children and families overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
Rhapsody raises over $120,000 from generous individuals and businesses who share Family Service's commitment to helping those in need.
The 2013 Rhapsody Gala will celebrate the spirit and meaning of mother's day, with special guests who have nurtured children and their community in extraordinary ways. Join over 300 other guests, bid on 100+ high-end auction items, and help children and families in our community!

What: Family Service EAP is pleased to once again provide the sound legal advice of Attorney Debra Weiss Ford, Managing Partner of the New Hampshire Office of Jackson Lewis LLP. Attorney Weiss Ford will discuss the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act, which has significantly changed the obligations of employers when dealing with employees who cannot work due to injuries or illnesses.
This highly interactive and engaging session will evaluate leave, accommodation, and return-to-work requests and provide guidance on communicating with employees and their health care providers while preserving management rights. Topics discussed include: Recent regulatory and case law developments, including the FMLA regulations defining “serious health conditions and issues related to intermit-tent leaves.”; Testing and second opinions: navigating when, where, how, and by whom they may be conducted; Reasonable accommodations: what they are (and are not).
